Never mind, you did a valiant attempt!

A week is simply too short for STW :-)

I am very relieved to have two weeks grace - time to get my thoughts together on Lolly Willowes. I'm realising what a lot there is to learn and appreciate about STW's writings :-) My thoughts on The Cat's Cradle Book are here:

lethe - I did actually finish reading it yesterday afternoon but I shan't have anything to say about it for a bit (and I'm going away next week, eek!).

Sandra - you can have as long as you like! Just let me know and I'll add the link. I'm looking forward to reading about The Cat's Cradle Book and going to look at your review now!

Jenny @ Reading the End

I accidentally happened to read a Sylvia Townsend Warner book for Sylvia Townsend Warner reading week! Usually I forget all about reading events, but this time I read Lolly Willowes! Yay me! It was real weird and I did not know what to make of it. :p

Jenny! Serendipity! A very un-STW phenomenon. Congratulations! I suppose it is quite weird but I hope you enjoyed it on balance...
